cultural groups that have been used are based on patient
populations served by the sponsoring organization, On Lok Senior
Health Services of San Francisco. Some of the groups were included
to provide contrast between groups so that each racial ethnic
group has several cultural subgroups. For example, the culture of
European Americans different from other White populations in other
parts of the world therefore others are included to provide
contrast for understanding and to avoid sterotyping. Other groups
will be added as time and funding allow.
